Stop Vaccine Discrimination in Pima County
HB 2498
We celebrated when Arizona Governor Ducey signed HB 2498 into law in April, 2022. It becomes effective 91 days after the legislative session ends and precludes COVID-19 vaccination mandates by Arizona government entities (except health care institutions.) But now, Pima County Supervisors are circumventing the intent of the state legislature by continuing discrimination based on vaccine status.
Write your officials NOW and let them know we need IMMEDIATE action. Tell Pima County Supervisors that any Board member who votes to continue the vaccine mandates may be personally liable for any existing or future county employee injury(ies) under Executive Order 2021-18 dated 8/16/2021 AND ARS 36-114 : Limitation upon authority to impose treatment, as well as ARS 36-184(C): Boards of health and local health departments…powers and duties.
Also, request they immediately reinstate (with back pay) any employees who were terminated or reassigned to another job when they exercised their right to informed consent by refusing the COVID-19 vaccine.
These vaccines are neither safe nor effective!
