 , you remember that there is a slag pile (leftover mining debris) in Cotto
 nwood adjacent to the children's park and fairgrounds. A firm\, MRI\, is r
 eprocessing that slag (blasting and crushing it) to produce "abrasive blas
 t media" for use in many applications such as roofing\, road surfacing and
  now\, turf products.\n\nDuring the reprocessing of the slag pile\, fugiti
 ve dust escapes the work site and settles throughout the nearby community.
  The question at hand is whether the product is toxic or safe.\n\nArizona 
 Department of Environmental Quality has been testing\, and will share thei
 r results at this meeting (you can attend in person or online.) Visit the
