She is affiliated with the Association of Env ironmental Medicine and the National Association of Environmental Professi onals and regularly attends medical rounds with Environmental Medical Educ ation International. Dr. Sina initiated research on mining contamination i n June 2023.\n\nShe obtained a bachelor’s degree in medical technology & amp\; research from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and work ed in laboratory medicine for 12 years before earning her Doctorate from S outhwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2001. Following this\, she pu rsued postdoctoral training in Environmental Medicine at Southwest College .
