Children’s Health Defense is calling on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to broaden its research into the relationship between vaccines and the development of autism in America’s children.

In September 2025, the NIH launched the Autism Data Science Initiative (ADSI), committing $50 million in taxpayer funding to find the causes of autism.

However, not a single one of ADSI’s principal investigators (PI) is looking into vaccines, the most likely driver of the autism epidemic.

Not only are these scientists not looking into it, but three of the ADSI’s PIs (Wendy Chung, Daniel Geschwind, and Jonathan Sebat) have devoted their careers to ensuring that vaccines will never be looked at as causative for autism, labelling vaccine/autism research “misinformation” and “fear” and calling the vaccine/autism hypothesis “fraudulent.”

We need to tell the NIH to take the following three steps:

Remove the ideological gatekeepers: Chung, Geschwind, and Sebat must be removed from leadership positions in federally funded autism etiology research. Their public record demonstrates active hostility to the very hypothesis the CDC now acknowledges has not been ruled out.

Expand the ASDI parameters: The initiative must explicitly investigate vaccine components, adjuvants including aluminum, and immunization schedule variables.

Establish independent oversight: The analysis of raw biological samples and cohort data must be conducted by teams not institutionally or financially bound to the existing consensus.

The relationship between vaccines and the development of autism in America’s children is the elephant in the room that’s been stuck there for decades.

Contact the NIH today to let the agency know you want your tax dollars directed towards meaningful research and investigations into the vaccine/autism link on behalf of our nation’s children.

Submit your comment HERE (sample letter provided).

Thank you for standing in defense of children’s health.

Action Alert: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) are seeking public comments on the potential harmful effects of radiofrequency (RF) radiation, more commonly referred to as wireless radiation.

This is an unprecedented opportunity for wireless advocacy.

If you, your child, or family have been negatively affected by wireless radiation emitted by cell towers, cell phones, WiFi routers, smart meters, or any other type of wireless-enabled technology, we urge you to share your experience.

Tell the FCC and HHS what happened, how such exposure has affected your health or daily life, and why you believe federal health officials need to urgently address this issue.

You do not need to have personally experienced health effects from wireless radiation to make your voice heard.

Family members, health professionals, scientists, advocates, and allies can all submit comments urging the FCC and HHS to address the growing concerns about the public’s ever-increasing exposures to wireless radiation.

Explain why you support greater federal attention to address the health effects of wireless radiation and why the FCC and HHS should listen to those who report being affected.

You can also share concerns about wireless radiation exposure, including cell towers near schools, playgrounds, and near your home.

The FCC exposure guidelines for wireless radiation have not been updated since 1996, despite a mountain of peer-reviewed scientific evidence showing harm, especially to children.

Our country continues to rely upon these outdated FCC guidelines to approve cell towers, antennas, smart meters, and wireless devices.

Now is our opportunity to tell the FCC and HHS why this matters!

In late August, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issued a decision authorizing the placement of a proposed AT&T cell tower at 9420 E. Cornville Road. The FCC’s decision ends its environmental review proceedings under the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) and clears the path for SQF LLC, the tower developer, to install a 100-foot cell tower right behind the Cornville U.S. Post Office, Cornville Market, and Cornville Mercantile at the entrance of Cornville as one descends into the valley.

If constructed, the tower would sit across the street from Runnin’ W Wildlife Center Inc., a recovery sanctuary for injured birds of prey and other wildlife, and one block away from the Desert Star Kindergarten. In 2022, Gillian Goslinga, property owner in Cornville, and Billy Harvey, Founder and Director of Runnin’ W Wildlife Center Inc., filed a request for review of certain harms on seven of nine NEPA natural and historical environmental impact criteria. Goslinga and Harvey submitted extensive U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service evidence in addition to evidence of harmful historic and scenic impacts.

Federal law requires all cell tower developers to comply with NEPA, but SQF LLC had not completed the FCC-required NEPA review when it obtained its Yavapai County wireless permit in February 2022. The County has since withheld authorization to build until SQF LLC registered the tower with the FCC and complied with its FCC-required NEPA review.

The Hopi Tribe’s Hopi Cultural Preservation Office (HCPO) joined Goslinga and Harvey in 2022 to oppose the proposed placement, filing a nonconcurrence as Stewards of the Earth. The proposed tower’s location on the Hopi Palatkwapi Trail would interrupt and disturb the Trail’s ancestral, religious, and historic landscape and features of significance to the Tribe. The Tribe also cited the critically close proximity of the placement to the wetland Oak Creek habitats where sacred Bald and Golden Eagles return to nest seasonally and hunt on the surrounding mesa tops. At 100-feet high, the tower emitters will emit radio frequency (RF) radiation directly on the eagles’ hunting area.

Goslinga and Harvey, along with other individual Cornville property owners and residents who also signed and filed letters and petitions with the FCC in 2022, have formed the grassroots community organization Stewards of Oak Creek to appeal the FCC’s August 2026 authorization. The national McCollough Law Firm, who partners with Children’s Health Defense in cell tower environmental cases, will represent Stewards of Oak Creek in its appeal of the FCC’s authorization.

In contention is the FCC’s RF radiation safety standards the FCC enacted 30 years ago in 1996 and reaffirmed in 2019. The outdated FCC safety standards fail to account for advancements in technology, such as 4G, 5G or 6G, the current ambient saturation levels of wireless radiation, and the now vast body of independent peer-reviewed science documenting mechanisms of thermal and biological harm of bioengineered wireless on plant and animal life, as well as humans.

Goslinga stated:

“It is not widely known that the 1996 FCC radiation safety standard still in effect was an occupational standard for human subjects 6 feet tall standing right next to 1G emitters. I’m 5 foot 4 and have no reason to stand right next to an antenna. Bird sizes are tiny in comparison, and they fly through that radiation just having to live their lives. We have Desert Star’s kindergarten with toddlers and infants just around the corner from where the tower would be, and the 1996 RF standard does not protect them either.”

Goslinga and Harvey also had argued at the FCC that the four planned emitter rings at 100-feet would directly expose commuters on Cornville Road and property owners with homes at the same elevation on nearby bluffs to the strongest beams of bioengineered radiation 24/7.

The Hopi Tribe is addressing its nonconcurrence with the placement with the FCC directly in government-to-government consultations.

Mass surveillance cameras continue to be installed in our communities without public approval or informed consent.

A coalition of Arizona citizens from across the political spectrum are challenging Flock Safety cameras, which are automated license plate readers (ALPRs). ALPRs capture photos of license plates and record a vehicle’s make, model, color, and other distinguishing characteristics.

Concern has spread across the country about widespread potential for abuse of ALPRs technology, including potential violations of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

On August 4, 2026 in Cottonwood, AZ, citizens spoke at the City Council meeting against the mass surveillance cameras.

Sandy Boyce successfully led efforts to remove Flock Safety cameras in Sedona. Boyce is now turning her advocacy work to other parts of Arizona. Boyce said Cottonwood residents packed the City Council meeting. Speakers urged City Council members to place Cottonwood’s Flock contract on a future agenda for a dedicated public discussion.

Boyce noted that in June 2025, the Cottonwood City Council approved an expansion of its Flock contract, including a drone, without a separate public discussion focused on the mass surveillance technology.

On August 5, 2026, during the Pinal County Board of Supervisors meeting, Sheriff Ross Teeple announced that he is directing his staff not to renew the Sheriff’s Office contract with Flock Safety.

Teeple cited privacy concerns and potential Fourth Amendment violations surrounding the Flock surveillance cameras.

“We have a camera system that can do facial recognition technology, and can start building a data set on what our citizens are doing on a day-to-day basis, and that in my training and experience . . . is a huge Fourth Amendment violation.” stated Sheriff Teeple.

Teeple acknowledged that this decision will only impact Flock cameras in unincorporated Pinal County. Many cities within the county have their own contracts with ALPRs.

Cities in Arizona that have removed Flock cameras:

Sedona

Flagstaff

Sierra Vista

South Tucson

Douglas (pending cancellation)

Chandler (pending cancellation)

Surprise (pending cancellation)

Three Practical Steps to Remove Mass Surveillance Cameras in your Community:

1. File a public records request at your city’s website (or county’s website, for unincorporated areas). Check your local jurisdiction’s website, as there may be public records “portals” through which the request must be made. Visit Live Free AZ for a sample public records request.

2. Schedule an agenda item with your City Council and/or County Supervisors to discuss the mass surveillance cameras. The protocol to schedule an agenda item varies, so check with your local officials.

3. Mobilize the community! Set up tables at local events, such as farmer’s markets, rallies, etc. Ask people to sign postcards demanding the removal of mass surveillance cameras. Hand-deliver the postcards to City Hall. Encourage residents to call their City Council, Mayor, and/or County Supervisor. When the City Council or County Supervisors are hearing discussion about surveillance cameras, flood the meeting with residents in opposition. Your local officials need to see an overwhelming protest from the community and hear residents speaking up against the mass surveillance cameras!

Find surveillance cameras near you by checking this map.

Stephen Amato, Ph.D., a former FDA regulatory consultant, says Merck failed to adequately warn the public that its Gardasil HPV vaccine could be linked to postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and other autoimmune-related conditions, according to a public court filing.

The expert reports, released after Merck settled over 200 Gardasil lawsuits for an estimated $50 million, allege the company had sufficient evidence to strengthen the vaccine’s safety warnings years earlier but chose not to do so.

Since Merck’s highly profitable Gardasil vaccine first came on the market in 2006, the list of side effects on the label has grown.

The collection of symptoms — along with evidence from animal studies, Merck’s own clinical trials, case reports submitted to the company and published scientific literature — all indicated that Gardasil could cause autoimmune disorders and POTS in some individuals.

Amato provided testimony and argued Merck should have specifically identified POTS, rather than listing individual symptoms associated with it—such as dizziness, fatigue, fainting and rapid heart rate—without connecting them as a syndrome. He stated that by January 2011, there was sufficient “reasonable evidence of a causal association between Gardasil and autoimmune reactions, including development of POTS.”

Amato determined that Merck knew about many factors that could cause autoimmune reactions. For example, the Gardasil vaccine uses a highly potent aluminum adjuvant, and such adjuvants have been linked to autoimmune reactions.

Merck also acknowledged it knew DNA fragments were left in the shot — and never investigated their possible side effects.

The expert reports submitted during the case are now public. See the links below.

“Merck’s pharmacovigilance plan for Gardasil states its purpose to “pre-empt and guard against erroneous associations that are made by anti-vaccine advocates” without mentioning that the true purpose of pharmacovigilance is to ensure the safety of those vaccinated with Gardasil.”

—Stephen Amato, Ph.D.

Congress is considering two bills — H.R.8255 and S.3639 — that would fast-track the launch of hundreds of thousands of satellites without any health or environmental review. The FCC has NEVER assessed the health or environmental impacts of satellites.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) already warned in 2022 that the outdated satellite review process needs to be reexamined by the FCC.

H.R.8255 and S.3639 would accelerate satellite deployment — despite serious risks of pollution, orbital debris, toxic reentry metals, rocket‑fuel contamination, rare‑earth mining harms, exponential increases in electromagnetic radiation (EMR), and the lack of any process for health or environmental protections.

Why It Matters:

• Exponential increase in EMR, raising the risk of harm to people, animals, and plants.

• Toxic metals released when satellites burn up, which pollutes the air, food, and water.

• Rocket‑fuel pollution already appearing in ecosystems.

• Severe orbital crowding — Starlink logged 25,000 collision‑avoidance maneuvers in 6 months.

• Applications for over one million satellites submitted to FCC.

• Hundreds of thousands of satellites falling back to Earth each year.

• Rare‑earth mining linked to unsafe conditions and child labor.

• No process for health or environmental review.

What You Can Do Right Now:

Your voice matters. When constituents speak up en masse, Congress pays attention.

Please take a moment to urge your Senator and Representatives to oppose H.R.8255 and S.3639.

Together, we can ensure satellite expansion does not outpace the environmental protections that our communities and planet deserve.

Next Steps:

1. Find contact information for your federal legislators HERE.

2. Call AND email your federal legislators to oppose H.R.8255 and S.3639.

Sample message:

As one of your constituents, I’m reaching out to ask you to oppose Satellite Bills H.R.8255 and S.3639 in their entirety.

These bills would rubber-stamp the deployment of millions of satellites with no health or environmental safety reviews despite documented harms. These bills would fast-track satellite permit approvals that would exponentially increase satellite launches, space debris, and the levels of electromagnetic radiation emitted across the entire planet.

Since 1986, the FCC has categorically excluded satellites from human health and environmental review under NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act). The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) has twice reported on unaddressed satellite impacts and admonished the FCC in a 2022 report, “FCC Should Reexamine Its Environmental Review Process for Large Constellations of Satellites.”

The Solution: Oppose H.R.8255 and S.3639 in their entirety.
