Action Alert: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) are seeking public comments on the potential harmful effects of radiofrequency (RF) radiation, more commonly referred to as wireless radiation.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for wireless advocacy.
If you, your child, or family have been negatively affected by wireless radiation emitted by cell towers, cell phones, WiFi routers, smart meters, or any other type of wireless-enabled technology, we urge you to share your experience.
Tell the FCC and HHS what happened, how such exposure has affected your health or daily life, and why you believe federal health officials need to urgently address this issue.
You do not need to have personally experienced health effects from wireless radiation to make your voice heard.
Family members, health professionals, scientists, advocates, and allies can all submit comments urging the FCC and HHS to address the growing concerns about the public’s ever-increasing exposures to wireless radiation.
Explain why you support greater federal attention to address the health effects of wireless radiation and why the FCC and HHS should listen to those who report being affected.
You can also share concerns about wireless radiation exposure, including cell towers near schools, playgrounds, and near your home.
The FCC exposure guidelines for wireless radiation have not been updated since 1996, despite a mountain of peer-reviewed scientific evidence showing harm, especially to children.
Our country continues to rely upon these outdated FCC guidelines to approve cell towers, antennas, smart meters, and wireless devices.
