About the Speaker:
Cami Smalley, B.S. Biology & Animal Behavior, CVT, M.S. Functional Medicine Nutrition, is a writer and Functional Nutritionist with more than 25 years of experience bridging veterinary medicine, animal behavior, and nutrition science. She began her career as a veterinary technician and studied dolphin behavior in Hawai‘i before entering the pet food industry, where she helped launch The Honest Kitchen, the first human-grade, dehydrated pet food, throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Cami is the founder of Enroot Wellness, where she guides individuals in whole-person health using a functional medicine approach. Her newly completed book, Honor That Dog®, blends rigorous research with personal storytelling to examine what truly sustains both dogs and humans, offering fresh insight into nutrition, vitality, and the enduring human–animal bond.
