Capping Power + Fiber Optics = Ultimate Solution

Their Hands Are Not Tied!  This is the Optimal Solution

The buck stops with each local City Council and County Commission: it is their duty to perform their role, as specified in the Cooperative Federalism framework set up by the purpose of 1996 Telecommunications Act (1996-TCA) and the 1996-TCA Conference Report.

  • The regulation of the operations of WTFs of any size or any “G” is not preempted from local zoning authority. Cities can regulate the operations of WTFs, including maximum power output.
  • Just 0.1 Watt of Effective Radiated Power (ERP) goes half a mile down the street with 5-bars telecom service (compare that to 10,000-50,000 Watts currently being used!).
  • Local Authorities can earn revenue by setting SAFE power limits (0.1 Watt Effective Radiated Power) and installing fuses on each sWTF — and charging policing fees when the WTF exceeds this limit and blows a fuse!

Broadband via Fiber Optics to the Premises (FTTP) Mitigates Many Harms Caused by Densified 4G/5G Wireless Infrastructure

Fiber (aka wireline broadband information service) is far superior to wireless. Fiber optics directly to the premises is faster, safer and more secure.
