We are Arizona residents working with physicians, scientists, attorneys, and researchers all over the country to educate and protect against the proven health, ecological, environmental, and property damages caused by microwave radiation. We can help you protect yourself and your family as well as empower you to work with your City Council to protect your neighborhood.

The safe technology group at Children’s Health Defense, Arizona Chapter originated as Arizonans For Safe Technology.  It was a grassroots member organization that seeks to make effective, lasting changes to Arizona state and local laws, regulations and practices that will protect people of all ages, and all living organisms, from the hazards of continuous exposures to pulsed, data-modulated, Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Microwave Radiation (RF-EMR), which is a manmade toxic agent that causes systemic biological damages at levels many thousands of times lower than current U.S. RF-EMR radiation exposure guidelines.

Solution: Superior Technology And Freedom Of Choice

The best plan for any city in Arizona is clearly Fiber to the Premises (FTTP): fiber optic cables to every home that would provide uncapped data download speeds of 1,000 Mbps. Fiber is the most energy-efficient, reliable, secure, safe and democratic way to offer broadband service. With fiber, individual households can choose if they want to run wireless in their homes via Wi-Fi or not.

Just as many people choose not to smoke cigarettes in their homes and are barred from doing so in public spaces, many residents likewise choose not to run Wi-Fi and opt-out of APS and SRP’s so-called “Smart Meter programs”. Forcing 24/7/365 grossly-underregulated power levels of pulsed, data-modulated, Radiofrequency Microwave Radiation through one’s home from the curb is unconstitutional and undemocratic. No city would dream of forcing second-hand cigarette-smoke into their residents’ homes 24/7/365. . .and even more so shouldn’t force harmful radiation from hazardous wireless signals. The issue of RF-EMR exposures is identical in both lack of freedom and hazard.
