“The idea for the formation of the Arizona Association of Patient Advocates (AAPA) began with a group of like-minded independent advocates who came together for networking. Since October 2019, this group of Arizona advocates has continued to meet at least monthly and has grown into a professional organization developed by dedicated volunteers who all have a sincere interest in educating the community, improving the healthcare experience, and advancing the profession,. In April 2021, AAPA received non-profit 501(c)(3) status as a charitable and educational organization.”
